The Yuriy Gagarin Children recreation camp of Armed Forces of
Ukraine is an out-of-school educational establishment. The aim of
the activity of the camp is:
recreation
– a complex of special measures, aimed at restoration of physical
and psychical functions of organism of a child, their social
activity;
health improvement
– a complex of social, educational, medical, hygienic, and sport
measures, aimed at improvement and strengthening of physical and
psychological heath of children, which are implemented in the camp
during recreation shirt.
The direct management of the camp is fulfilled by the directorate of
the camp.
The
characteristic of methodical and mass work and educational process
is determined by the Central administration of educational, social
and psychological work of the Armed forces of Ukraine according to
suggestions of the camp director.
The
characteristic of the health improvement and medical process is
determined by the Department of health care of the Ministry of
defense of Ukraine.
The planned
workload of the camp is 255 children per shift. The shift duration
is 21 days. During health improvement season 5 shifts are organized.
The first shirt
– from 02 of June till 22 of June inclusive; the second shift – from
25 of June till 15 of July inclusive; the third shift – from 18 of
July till 07 of August inclusive; forth shift – from 10 till 30 of
August inclusive; fifth shift – from 01 till 21 of September
inclusive.
In the camp the
teams are formed, each including 2 groups of 14-15 children. The
groups and teams are formed according to age and interests of
children. The direct management of the team is performed by the
educational worker and his/her aid. Every shift should include 7
groups with 28-29 children each.
To the camp the children
aged 8-14 years inclusive are accepted. The age of a child is
determined on the first day of the trip ticket.
A child is accepted
to the camp according to the following documents:
- a trip ticket, certified
by an official seal (a privilege ticket must also bear a stamp of a
military unit, where the father or the mother of a child does
military service)
- a photocopy of the birth
certificate of a child;
- a certificate from a
district doctor about state of health and done necessary
vaccinations;
- a certificate from
sanitation physician about absence of epidemic environment of the
child in 24 hours before leave to the camp;
- a document about payment
for privilege ticket.
A trip ticket to
the camp is a document, which certifies the right of a child to
receive health improvement services. There are commercial and
privilege trip tickets. The cost of each type of the ticket and
their proportion is estimated every year by the Central
administration of educational, social and psychological work of
Armed Forces of Ukraine according to the nutrition norms, cost of
public utilities, expenses for purchase of material values and other
indexes and is authorized in the budget estimate card for the next
budget year.
The distribution of trip
tickets is performed by the Central administration of educational,
social and psychological work of the Armed forces of Ukraine
according to the submitted applications.
A dismissal of the child
from the camp is made:
- at will of parents or
persons substituting them;
- at the decision of
educational workers council for systematical breaking of internal
regulations;
- on the basis of medical
certificate about the health state of a child, which proves the
impossibility for a child to stay in the camp any longer.
An unfounded
dismissal of a child from the camp is forbidden.
The camp promotes
healthy lifestyle, provides children who stay there with:
- defense
of life and health;
- proper
conditions for full health improvement and recreation, development
of their creative abilities, physical training, tourism,
environmental work and regional studies, constructive social work,
mastering of other useful skills etc.
- free
choice of kinds of activity and leisure pastime;
- use
of material, technical, cultural, sport, health improving and
educational basis of the camp;
- free
expression of their opinions, thoughts, beliefs;

protection from
any form of exploiting, violence from educational workers and other
personnel of the camp, propaganda of religious beliefs.
Children who
stay in the camp must:
- follow
the inner regulations;
- increase
the general cultural level, master knowledge, skills and practical
experience of healthy lifestyle;

follow moral and
ethical norms
- keep
safe the state, communal and private property;
- take
possible part in social constructive work
The educational process in the camp is performed in accordance with
individual possibilities, interests, tastes and abilities of
children, with consideration of their age, psychical and physical
peculiarities, health state and with usage of different
organizational forms of work and other forms of work, provided in
regulatory legal acts. |
